As many would agree, home made is always the best…. Onion jam can keep in the fridge for a few weeks or better still portion into small containers and freeze, to use as need.

This accompaniment is rich and intense as you have slowly reduced the wine, stock and all the lovely ingredients that has created this tasty addition to your meal or add some zoom to a simple piece of meat.

Zucchini, Polenta & Parmesan Patties

Great vegetarian snack to curb 10am munchies, no butter, no oil required!  This is a great way to add a bit of veggie to your day without feeling like you have endured tasteless cardboard.  I keep a load in my fridge at work and when the hungers come screaming, I will eat it cold on its own or add it to some store bought chicken, stick it between two slices of bread or bun with cheese or whatever you like, just get it into ya tummy!

Chez Brown Slow Roasted Lamb

I have served this to family, friends and colleagues, perfect for weekend lunch or dinner when it’s a bit chilly out there.  It is also perfect to feed a larger sized crowd stuffed into sliders, just like I have done for a work morning tea.  Trust me, instead of the usual store bought, mass produced standard pastry offerings of party pies and sausages rolls (I must admit some bakeries are better than others), this was an extremely welcomed change.

Guaranteed to have people coming back for seconds and licking their lips well after devouring a few!
