I’ve known owner Maurizio Di Ciano for a zillion years. A zillion years ago, he had a catering business, then he opened Maurizio’s at the Italian Club and now most recently, his new venture No Menu.

I’ve enjoyed Maurizio’s food throughout his career and at all times, his passion for food and cooking for his diners has never been less than explosive. He will always greet you warmly and spend a regular amount of time with you ensuring your meal is up to scratch. Potato Bake

There is a reason potato bakes of any kind are always welcomed at any table. The oozy satisfaction of soft potato, dripping with melted cheese, flavoured with crispy bacon (optional) and onions/spring onions is a delight to any palate and accompaniment to any meal.

The best thing about this side dish is that you can make it a day in advance so it is just a matter of heating it up in the oven just before everything else is served. Don’t misunderstand me, it is creamy and heavily delicious so I would suggest serving it with other lighter sides but, trust me, many will be licking the side of the dish to get some more of its irresistible deliciousness.
